Bowling As A Buisness

The Black Widow

February 16, 2007

So yeah I was browsing through bowling.com today and saw The Black Widow. I’ve seen this ball in action and let me tell you it’s a doosey. However, after about 5 dozen games or so, the ball begins to die on the backend so you’ll have to resurface it then. Now I’m not saying this happens all the time with the Black Widow’s but beaware if your interested in buying this ball. The Black Widow is currently on sale for $124.00 on bowling.com

The Brunswick Fury

February 15, 2007

I was in the pro shop the other day, and noticed a ball covered up. I went and looked at the title and low and behold, The Brunwick Fury is now available and online. It took them three years to make this ball. Wow….The Fury’s core is computer designed to create huge hook as always and being able to control the midlane.  Out of a range of 175 it’s hook potential is 165. Not too shabby eh? But be careful, it hooks quite early so you maybe hitting the seven pin before you know it. The ball is for medium to oily conditions straight out of the box.
